CRTC Rules VoIP Must Offer 911

Hot on the heels of a high-profile Texas case involving a failed attempt to make a VoIP 911 call during an armed burglary, the CRTC has ruled that VoIP services must offer 911 service, with the service depending on the type of VoIP.
