“NYT becomes an aggregator”

Mathew’s right – the new NYT tech page news aggregator is a nice development. Techmeme’s pretty cool, but as time has passed it has seemed to me to be too narrow a perspective of what is happening, and too focused on Web 2.0 fanboy content. I like the NYT’s approach (though I wish there were more of it on the page), but I wonder how open they’re going to be to publishing content provided by their competitors – which is to say, everyone else. So far, pretty open, it seems.
