Jeff Nolan’s statement of why he’s voting for what and for whom is a fascinating example of how the blog as online soapbox can do some good. Commenting on an actively debated issue is fine, but very often light on context. A personal manifesto on the other hand is an interesting snapshot of democracy in action.
