Apropos of my recent post on Tom Friedman’s new book, his Friday column looks more closely at the education aspect of Globalization.

Dan Gillmor writes on education today as well, wondering about the impact that the resurgence of interest in Kansas (and elsewhere in the US) on teaching Creationism – honestly, “intelligent design”??? Obviously, none of the adherents of this movement (i) has any sense of irony or (ii) has read Orwell – on our ability to educate children who can survive post-Globalization 3.0.
