The Decline and Fall of American Liberalism

is entirely the fault of the The New Yorker’s cartoons.  I’m glad that’s been cleared up.  But since I was given this weighty tome for Christmas, I think I’ll spend the next, oh, 5-10 years studying the issue in detail.
