“Newspaper ads hold their own”
You could not find better evidence of how far behind the curve we in Canada are on innovation on the Web. While America builds, we watch. And read, apparently - in newspapers of all things! How quaint. What’s particularly troubling here is that as a result there is no pressure to innovate, and so when it comes (and it will come), our newspapers will be that less able to adapt. In an age when media competition will be truly global, this will be, um, less than ideal.
