McCain increasingly seems to be little more than a pale shadow of who he has pretended to be. The latest, more pre-election scaremongering idiocy calculated to drive – um – less-than-reflective people towards him in the general. Simple observation: those who want to hurt America would love nothing more than to have many, many US troops bivvied in the sand for a long, long time. And McCain can deliver just that.
