Is Torture in Afghanistan Jails Endemic, or Epidemic?
I must be missing something in this Globe story. The headline says that lawyers for Amnesty International and the B.C. Civil Liberties Association claim that torture in Afghanistan jails is epidemic, while the article (written by the CP) says they claim it’s endemic. The latter, based on what I’ve read, seems credible, the former, hysterical. Someone get a dictionary to the Globe’s headline writers on the double.
