This is in part a very sad story, but reading it I can’t help wonder, given the splits in the demographics for US Presidential election primaries, which way the dumb vote would have broken.

Is it really any wonder people are confused… I’d consider myself a reasonably competent person and still can’t make out what the rules are at any given time in any particular state.
Personally I’ve always thought ballots should come with a skill testing question…
