It’s interesting that the media glamourizes (“heavy hitters”) people who, effectively, work to give their clients undeserved access to political power, particularly in an age when lobbying is wreaking such spectacular damage on the US political process. When I see lists like this I can’t help but wonder whether I’ll next be seeing the names in a Globe article about a public inquiry on the next Ottawa scandal.
