Words fail. By all accounts, he’s a smart guy, and no doubt well-intentioned. But honestly: (i) my critics don’t understand this like I do, (ii) if we don’t fight them there we’ll have to fight them here, (iii) you can’t believe how much this is hurting me, (iv) if this goes wrong, it should be blamed on my critics, (v) my critics don’t respect the troops. Shabby.
