“He was speaking figuratively, not literally”
Why is it that only politicians politicians and poets get to speak “figuratively, not literally”? I’d love to have someone trailing behind me, making sure that people understood that I was speaking “figuratively, not literally”. Can we vote “figuratively, not literally”?
