		<description>I caught this appearance completely by accident, and stood and watched it over the shoulder of a convenience store clerk as it was playing on a tv behind the counter.

Very good appearance by Geist as usual.

lets just hope Canada&#039;s government if they have to introduce new copyright legislation that they do it with some sort of rationality and balance. 

Canada being out of step with the US&#039;s copyright regime and the (flawed) 1998 WIPO treaty is not such a bad thing for Canadians. 

If anything Canada should be commended for &quot;dragging it&#039;s heels&quot; on copyright and letting the market sort itself out on it&#039;s own.

For one thing protecting DRM seems A LOT LESS relevant now that it did 5 years ago or in 1998.</description>
