		<description>I caught this appearance completely by accident, and stood and watched it over the shoulder of a convenience store clerk as it was playing on a tv behind the counter.

Very good appearance by Geist as usual.

lets just hope Canada's government if they have to introduce new copyright legislation that they do it with some sort of rationality and balance. 

Canada being out of step with the US's copyright regime and the (flawed) 1998 WIPO treaty is not such a bad thing for Canadians. 

If anything Canada should be commended for "dragging it's heels" on copyright and letting the market sort itself out on it's own.

For one thing protecting DRM seems A LOT LESS relevant now that it did 5 years ago or in 1998.</description>
