It’s meaningless in the context of the broader debate in the U.S. over whether to let in more brown people, but this story is no more or less meaningless in that sense than the stories of criminality and violence by immigrants that some – like Matt Drudge and Lou Dobbs – love to highlight to inflame that debate.
