I’m actually inclined to wonder, just a little, whether Facebook is doing this because allowing fake names might decrease the monetization value of user data. Honestly, what’s the big deal? It’s just entertainment – a game for grownups. And it’s starting to feel like the worm is turning, just a little, on Facebook.
