Macs at mesh
Something that was apparent at last year’s mesh but even more apparent this year: Macs are the notebook of choice at mesh. They were everywhere this year. From Loren Feldman recording video on his Mac, to Tom catching up on email, to Austin surfing in a spare moment, to Andrew moderating his panel, to Pema watching a liveblogger, to Scott taking a break, to Mark studying something with apparent concern, to this guy, and finally to my favourite - the solid line of MacBook Pros in the raised seats at the back of the auditorium on the first morning - Macs were seriously in the house. Update: How could I forget - the mdialogue guys edited all their mesh video on site on MacBook Pros. Updater: a timely observation, on this day of days.

As we talked about yesterday, both Patrick Mason and I ordered new MacBook Pros yesterday (both of us “switchers”). I also noticed someone of a little higher profile switching this week: Marc Andreesen (http://blog.pmarca.com/2007/06/at_long_last_sw.html)
