Yes, isn't that wild. I created a group called "Young Entrepreneurs" on facebook and then fired up an event with a date on it with no description of details other than "conversations" and about 40 people signed up to the group, 25 showed last night and they have posted the conversations in the group that is now ongoing...I got so focused on facebook I forgot to blog about it...

I'll try and make it to the next one, Mark. But am I reading you right - you got 25 people from advertising it on Facebook?

Rob, thanks for posting. There was a chap who came last night as a result. There were 25 of us and it was excellent. The conversations were really engaging and we are all going to keep it going and invite some more folks. A monthly meet up with lots of online forums to develop the ideas that came out of it. There was a good mix of techies, traditional entrepreneurs, and social change agents from the charitable sector. I had to kick folks out to get home for midnight! I was a plonker for not posting it on my blog sooner. The entire group came out of facebook which was an experiment. I will post more on it soon and the dates of the next gathering. Thanks again
