		<description>Recycling discredited information is bad enough, but I'm also troubled by the way Couric seeks to exploit fear.

She begins: "Is America ready to elect a president who grew up praying in a mosque?"

According to CNN which cites his two books, Obama says that while he lived in Indonesia as a child he attended a Muslim school for two years and a Catholic school for two years.

So an alternative to Couric's intro could have been:

"Is America ready to elect a president who grew up with experience of two of the world's largest religions?"

But people might actually answer "yes".</description>
