Apple Option-Backdating Prosecutor: “He’s an Animal”
An interesting (and admiring) portrait in Law.com of Michael Wang, a U.S. Attorney said to be involved in the Apple option backdating case. Gist is a particularly compelling visual that will perhaps haunt Steve Jobs for a while: “”Mike was able to use [an expert witness's] information against her,” Bessette said, by checking the expert’s data for inconsistencies. He was polite to the witness, Bessette said, but the information he threw at her was damning. “While she was giving her testimony, she fell apart,” Bessette said. “The jury just started laughing, and the defense attorney just walked out of the room, leaving his witness on the stand.”
