4 Laptops and No Newspapers

03-18-07 · 8 comments

This was the scene this am in my neighbourhood breakfast joint. Not a newspaper (or magazine, for that matter) in the place – all the solos were on laptops, sucking down the (free) wireless, with ‘phones plugged in. Also, after a quick check I noticed that not a one was reading an online newspaper or Canadian content, for that matter. It was blogs, iTunes, the BBC and other stuff. Oh, and 50/50 on gender, and 3:1 Macs.
