WNP is Just Around the Corner
Wireless number portability is just ’round the corner, though as the Globe notes, you wouldn’t know it from telco advertising. Yet another sign, to my mind, of the cozy truce the providers have with each other as they carve up the market to share between them. But do WNP and a new auction for spectrum suggest that a more competitive market could be ’round the corner?

I think that the real question is more about if they will just end up all trading customers rather than losing them…..(but for me, tic toc, personally i can’t wait :-)
Likely so, though if someone starts doing particularly well that could shake the others out of their torpor and provoke at least a little competition …..
