Microsoft’s ad agency has learned its lessons from Apple’s Mac / PC ad campaign – its latest ads for Windows Mobile milk Apple’s “we’re funny and cool, Just Like You” motif for all it’s worth. But they’re barely funny, and like the Zune, play more as pale imitations of Apple than honestly creative work. (Ironically enough, of course, this was the point in Apple’s Better Results ad).
