		<description>Yah, that NPS stance is absolutely absurd.  I&#039;d like to get down there, take a guided tour and find out what&#039;s really going on from the rangers themselves.  

Spoiler ... according to the internet, and specifically Wikipedia, the Grand Canyon may be less than 5 or 6 million years old.  (Caveats: the article implies that dating the age of the Grand Canyon is a challenging geologic exercise; and, we all know that Wikipedia is unreliable, so stick with the other dates that are out there if needing something official.  Better yet, make one up.  Geology doesn&#039;t really know anyway.)</description>
