Another Mortal Blow to Yellow Pages
Google and Intuit have announced a partnership that will see Google services built into Quickbooks, Intuit’s platform for small business accounting. Businesses will get a Google business listing for Google search purposes, presence in Google Maps, and a web page.
Or, go the Yellow Pages route and get yourself in a book.
As I’ve noted a couple of times, I don’t much that’s positive to say about the Yellow Pages sale into private equity hands and then into an income trust. This is why.
