Pretzel Time
ConsumerAffairs and Techdirt each have a run at Verizon over the tortured reasoning to which it has resorted as it has twisted itself into a pretzel looking for a way to tout its EVDO service as “Unlimited” while still preserving the right to ban users for “excessive” use. One alert reader at Techdirt notes that the Verizon TOS prohibit “downloading or streaming of movies”, at the same time as the Sprint EVDO service is touted as being ideal for downloading and streaming of movies.
