More Fun and Games with the Mac

Out of the blue, last week the Mac started unexpectedly shutting down when on battery power. There was otherwise no pattern to the shutdowns. To its credit, after two support calls (with very little waiting) Apple diagnosed the problem (defective battery), and quickly sent a replacement. Altogether a very positive experience.
