Rob,

We briefly met at Mesh. My thanks for a great conference. I can honestly say I heard of no complaints in the peanut gallery. Nicely done.

Cheers,
Sulemaan

PS> I had no idea you were Dalhousie alumni too...

Hi Rob,

I really wanted to thank you and the mesh team for all of your hard work. mesh was a screaming success!

I also wanted to take the time to thank you personally for helping me out at the end of the conference. For those of you who saw an ambulance outside the MaRS building, it was for me - I'm fine now, and I wanted to share with you that Rob was the first person to get everything in order, ensuring that I received immediate medical attention at the MaRS facility.

I even received a follow up call from MaRS this morning to see how I was doing, and they were much relieved to hear everything was well.

Not only was the mesh conference a great networking and learning environment for creatives, techies and bloggers, it was also a community comprised of people who truly care and reach out to each other.

Thank you again and looking forward to next years mesh!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Ciccarelli

[...] As Rob has mentioned, it was really an amazing and gratifying thing for us — five guys with absolutely no experience at this kind of thing whatsoever — to get the kind of comments we did from people as they came out of the various panels, or left at the end of the day. I lost count of the number of people who told me that it was one of the best conferences they had ever been to, or thanked us for putting it on in Toronto and getting people fired up about Web 2.0, or said that they really enjoyed the lack of eye-glazing PowerPoints and the focus on conversation and discussion.
