For the life of me, I can’t understand why politicians think I shouldn’t have the right to opt out of telemarketing calls. Alec Saunders nails my thinking on the issue. If I’ve gone to the trouble to opt out, my government should accept that I know what I want, and that I don’t need government or anyone else to tell me what to do.
