Ernest Svenson – aka Ernie the Attorney – is leaving Gordon, Arata in New Orleans and going solo. Ernie was one of the very early law bloggers and is one of the good guys (I had the pleasure of meeting him at the first LexThink). The new website is here and is (surprise!) a blog. Gist:
I will continue handling the same types of business disputes that I worked on before, but with less overhead and a lower billable rate. I’ll strive to use non-hourly billable arrangements, and to use technology to increase productivity and effectiveness wherever possible.
