On Digg
I think I can now safely write the post-mortem on my recent experience on Digg for my post “Why John C. Dvorak is Wrong About Apple“. 17,000 hits, 66 comments, 1315 diggs and 131 digg comments. (There were actually a few more comments, but I deleted them because of (wildly) inappropriate language). The suddenness of the onslaught was remarkable. And it’s clear to me now that Digg’s power as a tool for focusing traffic is simply breathtaking.

Congrats on your widely successful post! I even heard it mentioned, indirectly, on TWiT.
Indeed, don’t underestimate TWiT’s ability to leverage the Digg effect. Count at least one more reader who found the way here because of TWiT.
