Oh wait a minute, you are talking about THIS May, aren't you? Well, I'm away May 1-11, back on May 12. I'd love to participate if I'm around.

Cheers,

Rob, just let me know how I can help. I was envious of my colleague who attended Moose Camp as part of Northern Voice in Vancouver a couple weeks ago. After they had asked me if I would come out and take part! I should have.... Since then I've been thinking about organizing something like this here myself, but I'm already organizing a major conference for Oct. 2007 and am up to my eyeballs with that. But anything I can help with on this, let me know. Restaurant bookings, help finding speakers, tap dancing...

I only ask that you put it on Mother's Day weekend, 'cause I know my annual professional conference won't fall on that weekend. Or May 2-4 weekend if you are thinking along those lines.... Heh

Cheers,
Connie

It's a great initiative, and I'll offer to help/participate wherever it makes sense. I'll also note your posting on my blog now to help get the word out. Good stuff, Rob!

[...] Everyone’s talking about it (well all the people in a particular geeky subset), there’s going to be a web 2.0 conference here in Toronto in early May. We share a common fascination and enthusiasm for what’s happening now on the Web and in blogging, and are eager to find a way to showcase Toronto and bring smart, interested people here from elsewhere to join our community for what we hope will be a rousing and stimulating exploration of Web 2.0.
Hi Rob, I would be very interested in this conference. I hope you include some of the great bloggers of the 2006 election - Wells, Kinsella, Simon Pole. They added a very interesting perspective.
