Definitely a great idea. I've noticed more and more of the devices I buy now have the USB mini B connectors. I now have one cable at work, one at home, and one in my bag, and I can use the cable to charge a number of devices, including my phone, blackberry, jasjar pocetpc phone, and even my remote. (My Dell DJ is the same mini b connector, but sadly the nano is not... but we expect as much from Apple by now).
