Paul Kedrosky writes today (linking to an FT piece on the topic) about what I was hoping would remain our little secret: in many respects technology has reversed the historical enterprise desktop advantage, and turned the table in favour of the little guy.
I think the effect is broader than just office v. home and extends to big co vs. small co – there are so many aspects to this reversal of fortune that I simply can’t imagine what it would be like to be as tech-disabled as large enterprises now are – biglaw or big-anything else, really. This of course is just another factor in the broader reversal of large v. small that Seth Godin wrote about months ago.
Small truly is “the new Big”.
