Linksys is finally shipping its MIMO routers and cards, based on the well-regarded Airgo chip. I’ll be very curious to see whether Linksys follows its success with open WRT in 802.11g by developing a MIMO router with open source firmware. A product with those characteristics is a credible enterprise substitute and would eventually sell for under $100.
