Alternatives to Email
Business Week Online has an article today on the alternatives to email that are emerging as collaborative work tools. This, at least in part, because email inboxes are being overtaken by irrelevant and unnecessary content.
It’s timely for me - I’ve returned to Groove recently to help with the workflow on a new project with a small group. I first used Groove when it emerged as a competitor to a collaborative tool developed by a former employer; the other group members are comfortable with it because they used it within workgroups at Ivey’s EMBA. So far, the experience has been very positive - Groove has made working collaboratively at a distance more effective.
