DRM: An Anthropologist’s Worst Nightmare
Thanks to Tad for tipping me to this post about an anthropologist whose efforts to recover audio recordings of interviews, lost in a hard drive crash, are being obstructed by DRM in the Sony ATRAC3 file format in which the original data was encoded.
