Taking My Life Into My Own Hands

and anticipating the imminent demolition of my arguments, I debate copyright Professor William Patry (and others) on issues raised by the recent news that publishers are growing concerned over increasing used book sales.

BTW, Cory Doctorow has written an odd post on the topic, accusing authors and the publishing industry of “threats” and “angry rhetoric”. I’ve read the WSJ article (paid sub. required) he quotes Patry as relying on, and I’ve read the AP story as well, and I see no evidence of anything other than a discussion about the numbers and an expression of concern. Perhaps I missed the reports of threats and the angry rhetoric – if I did, someone please fill me in – but … hunh?
