		<description>Bob, you are wrong. Threats which are not illegal cannot be used against the messenger reliably. If they are, more leverage can actually be created in most cases. After you have demonstrated your intellectual superiority over an opponent one could argue that the next instance could actually go smoother because dominance has been established.</description>

Negotiators need to avoid any threat, because there is no long-term benefit from the use of a threat. If used, it almost certainly &quot;dooms&quot; the long term relationship. A person who uses a threat once cannot be trusted again. I will always walk away from the use of a threat.</description>
