Canadian Spam Task Force Report Released
From Michael Geist’s BNA’s Internet Law News:
Canada’s National Task Force on Spam released its final report yesterday. The report recommends creating a new anti-spam law that would establish an opt-in regime supported by tough penalties. The report also calls for the creation of a private right of action to facilitate spam suits and the creation of a co-ordinating body to oversee spam enforcement.
