National Post 6/28/05 “Segue to the Segway? Toronto eyes options”

Pictur associated with above article shows “No” helmets on the elite effite segway riders! They must already be aware that “safe” sidewalks do not require hemets. Lets get the City bylaws in preserve the sanctity and safety of our sidewalks by not allowing Segways or any other motorized vehicle such as electric pocket crotch rockets, electric scooters, electric skateboards and the list goes on —–

Segways are indeed dead in TO after the TO Works Committe 10/11/05 meeting. Innovative Mobility has new site up and running with Segway caveats for those global communities considering approval of the sidewalk SUV on their pedestrian paths at http://www.segwaycaveats.blogspot.com/
