The Daily Threatwatch
Increasingly it seems that IT systems worldwide are under constant siege by ne-er-do-wells, general miscreants, vagabonds, rogues, script-kiddies and, oh yeah, the Russian mob. It seems that a day doesn’t go by without at least one more reason to generally doubt the character of a lot of folks out there, and suspect many of them of technological moral turpitude.
Today’s Threatwatch yields virus-bombing of HSBC systems (thousands of virus attacks a day??), and seriously escalating security threats via IM (250% increase in threats, year-over-year??).
All in a days’ work, these days.
