Evidence That Spam Volumes are Stabilizing
When I first heard AOL’s reports some weeks ago that spam volumes had dropped, I took it more as a sign that their userbase was eroding than good news about spam. But it looks like my skepticism might have gotten the better of me. But there is news from Brightmail, MessageLabs and Postini that the spam growth curve is flattening. Perhaps it’s all being diverted to MT comment spam and text-message spam.
It’s a good thing.
