Price Wars in US Online DVD Rental
Blockbuster US takes the monthly charge down to $15. Proof once again that the internet is humankind’s as yet most perfect invention for squeezing margins until they shriek in pain.
In Canada, not so much. $25 per month seems to be the norm (for 4 vs 3 out at the same time). Presumably because volumes are lower and Blockbuster is not offering the service. Yet.
But their first salvo is in the works already - no more late fees, just around the corner.
