A tipping point? After early false starts with apps like Hotline, the explosive growth of technologies such as wiki, RSS, groove, del.icio.us and flickr (and there are many more) suggests that we are in for a sea change in the near future, with intense growth in technologies designed to connect us to our communities. This is a rich opportunity for information workers who work on their own or in small groups. Yet another way the ‘net is a powerful equalizer.
